The Ministry of Health has ordered the closing of Nachal Meshushim stream in the Golan Heights to hikers, due to concern about pollution.
The Nature and National Parks Protection Authority notes that every year during the summer season, streams are temporarily closed due to similar concerns. The status of the streams is published on the authority's website and on the signs in the area.
