Major General Alexey Bakin, head of the Russian center for Syrian reconciliation, told a briefing on Monday that members of the Al-Qaeda-affiliated Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham terrorist group (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra) opened mortar fire on the community of Kudehi in Syria's Aleppo Province, killing 11 civilians and wounding 15, according to Russia's Sputnik news agency.

Earlier on Monday, Syrian state media said insurgents fired rockets late Sunday into the Aleppo village of Wadehi, killing at least 12 civilians and wounding 15.
