The offical value of the shekel declined by an average of .065 percent on Monday in mixed trading against the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.

The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.61, up .278 percent from Friday, while the Euro declined .089 percent to 4.0548 shekels and the pound sterling was set at 4.5461 shekels, down .154 percent.
