Prime Minister Netanyahu responded to President Rivlin's remarks at a ceremony in memory of Israeli presidents and prime ministers at the President's Residence and said: "I share your call for the importance and centrality of the law in our national life and democracy, and of course the rulings of the court are binding on us all."
"The balance of powers is the foundation of modern democracy. I forget neither the importance nor the role of the court, not even for a moment," Netanyahu added at the ceremony.
