The Blue and White party, through its attorneys, on Sunday turned to Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit demanding that he make clear to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that he does not have the authority to increase the number of ministers during the tenure of a transitional government.
Blue and White claims that the temporary order, which allows the appointment of more than 19 ministers (as opposed to what is stipulated in the Basic Law: The Government), is not valid as of when the 20th Knesset was dissolved.
