Military prosecutors are seeking to sign a plea-bargain with a company commander from the haredi-religious Netzach Yehuda Battalion of the Israel Defense Forces who was charged with not preventing a beating of two Arab suspects by soldiers under his command, which was documented on video.
The victims allegedly hid the terrorist who murdered two of their comrades in an attack at the Giv'at Asaf Junction in Samaria. According to the apparent arrangement, the officer will admit the offense of negligent injury due to unbecoming conduct and will serve 60 days in prison.
