The Knesset's Interim Finance Committee has approved budget transfers and changes in the government budget for 2019, amounting to 4.76 billion shekels.
At the same time, the committee did not discuss a number of budgetary transfers by the Ministries of Education and Finance, amounting to hundreds of millions of shekels, and left a revision (a request for reconsideration) that delayed the transfer of more than NIS 2 billion to the Ministry of Education, in light of the under-budgeting of the salaries of special-education teachers and kindergarten teachers in haredi-religious schools, in recognized, unofficial institutions.
