IDF predicts double number of religious girls to join IDF

The IDF estimates that within five years the number of religious girls who enlist in the IDF instead of choosing National Service will double.

In the past three years, the number of religious girls in the army has risen. In 2012, 1,200 religious girls enlisted, in 2018 the number rose to 2,700, reported Galei Tzahal.
