Abbas Spokesman: 'Deal of the Century has failed'

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas Spokesman Nabil Abu Rudaina claimed that the Trump administration's Deal of the Century has failed and changed direction because of the Palestinian resistance to the plan.

"The American conspiracy is changing direction and the reason for this is the Palestinian rejection [of the deal]," Abu Rudeina said in a statement published by the PA news agency Wafa. "The real purpose of the Bahrain economic conference is to bypass political negotiations," he said.
