The Beersheva District Court on Tuesday convicted truck driver Loren Ankri of vehicular manslaughter in an accident in which Yariv and Shoshi Atar and their six children were killed near the Dead Sea in November 2018.
As part of the plea bargain, the prosecution will seek a sentence of up to 13 years in prison. In addition, as part of the arrangement, the parties reached an agreement that prior to the appeals for the punishment, a victim's crime report would be submitted, Kan reported.
