In light of a request by Knesset Finance Committee Chairman Moshe Gafni, Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein has decided to set up a temporary education committee in the Knesset due to the special circumstances prior to the opening of the Knesset in September and a shortage of budget allocations.
It was reported that the committee will closely monitor all the problems and hardships in the education system ahead of the upcoming school year.
