The Department for the Investigation of Police in the State Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against a former volunteer at the Rehovot police station for the submission of false information and obstruction of justice.
According to the indictment, the volunteer pulled his gun during a clash with three youths and it went off, wounding him in the thigh. He allegedly reported that the boys he was struggling with had tried to grab the weapon.
