Israel Railways reports that a person who illegally broke onto the track near Kfar Chabad station was apparently hit by a passing train. In accordance with the procedure and the instructions of the police, the nearby railway section was closed to traffic. For the time being, trains from the north will end their journeys at Tel Aviv stations, and from the south at the Lod station.

The Kfar Chabad, Lod-Ganei Aviv and Rishon Lezion Rishonim stations have been temporarily closed for service. The Modiin-Ben Gurion Airport-Nahariya line and the Ra'anana-Moshe Dayan-Be'er Sheva line (the western Negev line) remain on schedule.
