Director-General Yoav Horowitz of the Prime Minister's Office today informed Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Tuesday that he would like to resign from the position in continuation of a previous announcement to the prime minister before the recent elections in which he asked to conclude his duties upon the formation of the government or by June at the latest.

In the past three years, Horowitz has served as the prime minister's chief of staff, adding the director-general's duties in the past year.
