Shaul Horev, former chairman of Israel's Atomic Energy Commission, has responded to news of accelerated Iranian uranium enrichment by saying, "Israel should ring the alarm bells, and the bells should not only be the result of the nuclear program - Iran's ballistic missile program is no less worrisome."
Interviewed by Israel Defense Forces Radio, the retired brigadier general accused former chairman Mohamed ElBaradei of the International Atomic Energy Agency of turning a blind eye to the Iranian nuclear program, saying, "As someone who was not in the best relations with Israel, he helped Iran by rejecting proof of its progress on the secret nuclear program."
