Member of Knesset Meir Cohen (Blue-White) has responded with sarcasm to an Israeli public television report that Natan Eshel, a close associate of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, made it clear to MK Bezalel Smotrich that there was no chance he would receive the justice portfolio because it is the responsibility for the fate of the prime minister.
Writing on Twitter, Cohen said, "Natan Eshel is reveals the new method: ministers will be used as bullet-proof vests for the Netanyahu family. Have we already said Machiavelli?"
