The Association of Publishers and local authorities will open Hebrew Book Week events throughout Israel on Wednesday.
The theme of Hebrew Book Week this year is "Reading Together", as part of the cooperative effort of the Publishers Association and the Pyjama Library program, which is marking its 10th year and the distribution of its 20-millionth book. That book will be read out loud simultaneously, Wednesday at 18:00, on stages in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Jerusalem, and Haifa, which is hosting Hebrew Book Week after a break of ten years. In these cities there will be a wide range of activities for parents, children and families.
