Member of Knesset Yair Lapid (Blue and White) attacked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Monday, against the background of Netanyahu's attempts to postpone a pre-indictment hearing on corruption charges again.

Referring to the investigation MK David Bitan is undergoing regarding corruption in the Rishon Letzion municipality when he was deputy mayor, Lapid said, "The criminal suspect Binyamin Netanyahu today sent the criminal suspect David Bitan to say that the hearing should be delayed again, because there is no shame anymore. If not for Netanyahu's criminal problems, we could already have a national unity government today, with 70 Knesset seats, without a halakhic [Jewish law -ed.] state, without extremists, good for the economy, good for Israeli society. One person is preventing what the state needs, so let's move this one person for the benefit of the State of Israel."
