The Turkish consul in Israel will visit the arson suspect arrested Sunday by the Israel Defense Forces in Haifa, Ynet reported.
The man, who was aboard a cargo ship, is claimed to be a Turkish citizen and is believed to have started a fire on the ship.
Israel has been asked to confirm whether there were any Turkish casualties.
