Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Binyamin Netanyahu appointed Avi Roeh, former head of the Yesha Council and head of the Binyamin Council, to the post of assistant to the defense minister for settlement affairs.
Prime Minister Netanyahu said that he greatly appreciates Avi Roeh and wished him success in his position.
Netanyahu thanked Kobi Eliraz, the assistant to the defense minister who was fired this week, by surprise, for his professional contribution and his activities in the Defense Ministry.
