Thousands of worshipers are expected to mark Thursday's anniversary of the passing of Rabbi Ovadia of Bartenura, the great commentator of the Mishnayot, at his grave at the foot of the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, visibly close to the Western Wall of the Temple.
Egged is expected to reinforce the regular bus lines to the Western Wall, with the stop for the tomb a four-minute walkf from the station before the Kotel. There will also be free transportation 14:00 to 18:00, leaving from 79 Shmuel HaNavi Street (Haeven Station) near the Sadigura Beit Midrash. That the main prayer, with the participation of rabbis and public figures, will take place just before sunset, when thousands of worshipers from all circles and communities are expected.
