In routine tests carried out by the Department of Pests and Pesticides in the Environmental Protection Ministry, in cooperation with the Health Ministry, mosquitoes infected with the West Nile virus were detected in Beit Aryeh in Samaria.
"Immediately upon receiving the lab results from the Health Ministry, the Central District of the Environmental Protection Ministry updated the findings to the Beit Aryeh Regional Council and demanded that the Authority expand the scope of mosquito control in its territory."
