The condition of Gabriel Lavie, 50, who was seriously wounded in the stabbing attack near the Damascus Gate last Friday morning, has improved.
At the Shaare Zedek Medical Center where he is hospitalized, Lavi is now breathing on his own, and on Tuesday morning he was transferred from the intensive care unit to a regular ward.
