An indictment was filed against an Israeli and three Arabs who worked in the avocado plantations at Kibbutz HaMa'apil.
According to the indictment filed by the police claims department at the Hadera Magistrate's Court today, the employer did allow the defendants to take a bag of avocados at the end of their work, but they loaded 446 kg of the coveted fruit at a value of NIS 6,630. They planned to sell the stolen goods to a vegetable store in Barta'a.
