The Association of Pulmonary Fibrosis Patients has expressed pain on the death from the disease of Nechama Rivlin, the wife of President Reuven Rivlin.
Association Manager Miki Dror said, "Mrs. Rivlin died after many years of suffering from IPF (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis), which many members of the organization suffer. The long years of suffering can be prevented by correcting the health basket and providing treatment from the moment the disease is diagnosed and not after it deteriorates. By doing so we can extend the lives of patients."
