The Knesset Arrangements Committee has approved fast processing of a bill by Member of Knesset David Bitan (Likud) to give Central Election Committee officials a fifty percent raise in view of the proximity of the September elections to the summer, according to Channel 12 News.
Therefore, the budget of the Central Elections Committee for the Twenty-Second Knesset will be 35% higher than the budget in the previous elections if approved.
