The heads of the municipalities in Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley have asked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to reconsider his decision to fire Kobi Eliraz from the position of assistant to the defense minister for settlement affairs.
A letter issued by the Yesha Council, signed by all the mayors, cited Eliraz for his professionalism and credited him for advances in building, infrastructure and security components. They said he did a good job of representing the local government and the state to each other.
