Member of Knesset Moshe Ya'alon (Blue and White) was interviewed by Israeli public radio Thursday morning on the decision to dissolve the Knesset and go to new elections.
Referring to corruption allegations against Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, the senior party member said, "Everything is meant to allow Netanyahu to be removed from the defendant's bench - that's why he is going to elections instead of returning the mandate [of forming the government] to the president. Everything is for his survival."
