"The public wants a unity government and Netanyahu is the barrier without which a unity government can be established," MK Yair Lapid of Blue and White said at the start of the faction meeting.
"We have the same number of seats, if he cannot form a government now, it's our turn. If there is someone else in the Likud who is not Netanyahu, we can form a national unity government without extortion, without extremism, without billions for bribery. That is what is proper for the country and that is what Bibi is trying to prevent."
