A fire broke out in the morning at a girls' school on Malchei Yisrael Street in Jerusalem. The firefighters soon arrived at the scene and noticed the flames and smoke rising from the school.

The firefighters burst into the building, and searched the area, extinguishing the flames and executing a controlled release of the smoke accumulated in the building. After a while, control of the fire was achieved. An investigation was opened into the circumstances of the fire, and it appears that it was caused by an electrical failure in the air conditioner that was left on.
