In the wake of the possibility of the dissolution of the Knesset and new elections, a poll published this morning by the newspaper Ma'ariv suggests that if the Knesset elections were held today, the right-wing bloc would strengthen to 68 Knesset seats, compared to 65 in the elections a month and a half ago.
According to the poll conducted by the Panels Politics Research Institute headed by Menahem Lazar, in the new elections the Likud would retain its strength and win 35 Knesset seats, while Ganz and Blue and White would weaken by a seat and fall to 34 seats.
The poll also shows that in the case of new elections, the two haredi parties, Shas and United Torah Judaism, would maintain their strength - 8 seats each. Hadash-Ta'al rises from 6 Knesset seats to 7 seats. Gabbay is left with six seats, Yisrael Beytenu 6 seats, United Right 6, while Meretz strengthens by one seat to 5 seats. New Right passes the threshold with 5. Kulanu and Ram-Balad don't pass the threshold in the poll.
