Chairman Bezalel Smotrich of the National Union faction in the United Right has appealed to Chairman Avigdor Liberman of the Yisrael Beytenu Party to join the new government.
Writing on Twitter, Smotrich said, "My friend, contrary to your estimates and that of many others, all the haredi parties, including Agudat Yisrael, stand behind [Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's] compromise. Now the ball is in your court. Display responsibility and give a positive answer tonight. Come on! Let's establish a good right government and change the world. Politics is an art of compromise and you know it."
