Lebanese monkey running around northern Israel

A Vervet monkey has escaped from a monastery in Lebanon and arrived in Israel, according to the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation.

It was seen in the vicinity of Shtula and Hurfeish. Attempts to capture it have failed.
