Chairman Avigdor Liberman of the Yisrael Beytenu Party has explained his refusal to meet Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu regarding creation of a ruling coalition, telling Maariv, "There is no point in talking again about the compromise that the haredim want [on legislation regulating the induction of haredim into the Israel Defense Forces].
He continued, "If they accept my demands on the draft law (the legislation of the law as it is written), then it is possible to continue the coalition negotiations."
