Wave of fires: The police decided that Route 443 will remain closed for traffic overnight until further notice.
In light of the situation, the residents of the evacuated communities will not be allowed to return to their homes. Police forces are operating inside the local communities to protect the property and houses of the residents. The Ben Shemen Forest will be closed from all directions and therefore hikers and cyclists will not be allowed to enter.
