The Magen David Adom medical-emergency organization and 23 affiliated rescue groups have treated 266 people at Lag Ba'omer observances in Meron since Wednesday evening.

The patients suffered from exhaustion, fainting, dehydration, burns, injuries and minor bruises, chronic diseases and heart disease. 33 of them needed were evacuated to the Ziv/Sieff Medical Center in Tzfaftby ambulances, including 3 who suffered a heart attack and were evacuated directly to a cardiac intensive care unit, a woman with labor pains, and a young man of about 19 with burns. MDA appealed to people going to Meron to obey the instructions of the security forces, to equip themselves with bottles of water and drink a lot and to avoid excessive crowding.
