New York Consul General Dani Dayan, held a series of talks Wednesday evening on the subject of anti-Semitic demonstrations expected to take place this weekend in Dayton, Ohio, by a number of right-wing extremist groups, including neo-Nazis and members of the Ku Klux Klan.

Dayan spoke told Cathy Gardner, executive director of the Jewish Federation of the city: "Almost two years after the terrible events I saw in Charlottesville, a similar demonstration is taking place again. We do not have to get used to the current reality, anti-Semitism has no place in the United States We are monitoring the events and working with all the relevant parties. I am standing arm-in-arm with you and I assure you that the State of Israel will do everything to combat anti-Semitism, its roots and its destructive consequences."
