In Belarus, 1,214 Holocaust victims whose bodies were discovered in early January at a building site in the city of Brisk were brought to rest.
About 300 people took part in a full Orthodox funeral ceremony organized by the city's chief rabbi, including the Israeli ambassador to Minsk Alon Shoham and the honor guard of the Israeli army.
