In a post on Twitter, Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu attacked the left-wing "Commanders for Israeli Security" Group which has released an article claiming that annexing Judea and Samaria poses a security threat to Israel, writing:
"These "experts" supported the nuclear agreement with Iran and warned: "Bibi is wrong in navigating [the country] and is destroying our alliance with America." Land in Judea and Samaria is not only a guarantee of Israel's security - it is also the heritage of our forefathers."
