About 2,000 pensioners demonstrated in front of the government complex in Tel Aviv and alternately blocked the nearby Azrieli Junction.
They protested the Finance Ministry's intention to cut, next week, the pensions of more than a quarter of a million pensioners insured by the old pension funds, due to a financial deficit created by raising the retirement age for women.
