Israel's embassy in Tokyo has posted a message on its website relaying a warning from the Japanese Meteorological Authority regarding the Hakone volcano in the Kanagawa district, an highly area frequented by many tourists, including Israelis.
The Authority raised the danger level in the area from 1 to 2 (out of 5), meaning that the area of the volcano and the areas adjacent to the visitors were closed. There is a danger of eruption of boiling gases and fear that rocks that may fly in the air. The embassy recommended that tourists be attentive to the instructions of the local authorities.
