MK Ahmed Tibi (Hadash-Ta'al) said in an interview with Army Radio on Sunday night that the government was responsible for the many construction-related accidents.
"There is criminal negligence here that the government is responsible for. The value of the life of an Arab citizen is smaller than that of a Jewish citizen - discrimination against Arabs continues even when they die," charged Tibi, who also called for action to eradicate violence in Arab society, which has claimed 23 victims since the beginning of the year. "The Israel Police is professional and strong. When it invests effort it succeeds, as in Netanya and Nahariya. The allegations of lack of cooperation in Arab society are excuses that the state is disseminating."
