A Polish politician was seen, during a debate related to European Union elections, picking up a kippa placed behind a rival and holding it over her head, stating afterwards that she "bows to the Jews and would sell the country for money."
Responding on Twitter, CEO Jonathan Greenblatt of the Anti-Defamation League said, "What a sickening & outrageous display of anti-Semitism. Whether it's politics or any other sphere of public life, we all must speak out against such hate. Polish leadership needs to do so here immediately."
