The Home Front Command will hold a warning test tomorrow at 10:05 am, when an ascending and descending siren will be heard in a number of northern communities. In case of a real alert, a second siren will follow.

The test will mark the first time a new national method will be used, instead of by region, with the alert activated according to the communities. As part of the experiment, the new warning system will be operated on radio stations Radio Ash-Shams and Radio Hatzafon Lelo Hafsaka. Television Channel 33 will display the names of the communities where the warning will be heard on the right side of the screen. In addition, the Home Front Command web site will be operated using the new method and the Home Front Command applet will be operated according to regions, with the appropriate technology for the hearing impaired.
