About 110 teachers and civilian teachers have signed a petition initiated by Dr. Yehuda Lahav, a Haifa teacher, against a bill to give immunity from prosecution to high ranking government officials, according to Channel 13 News.
The teachers say, "We, who teach about the principles of democracy, including the principle of limiting governemtn and the rule of law, are shocked by the dangerous process currently taking place. More serious is the reckless rush of this constitutional change."
