A suburban train that left Rehovot at 7:55 PM at Binyamina was stopped next to the Haganah station because of smoke from one of the cars, according to an initial report.
Some of the passengers broke several windows, but remained on the train and did not go down to the track. Train inspectors scanned the tracks, and the train continued on its way and went into the Haganah station in the last few minutes, where passengers boarded alternate trains.
