The Jewish Press reported that Bar Ilan University and Paris Descartes University signed a new cooperation agreement.
Under the new agreement, the Universities will offer joint study programs for French and Israeli students and issue joint graduate degrees in the respective programs. In the future, the agreement will expand to include faculty and researcher exchange programs, student exchange programs, joint research programs and seminars, exchange of scientific and technical teaching resources, joint supervision of PhDs, etc...
Paris Descartes University, also known as Paris V, is an offshoot of the Sorbonne, which was split into multiple separate institutions in 1970.
