The director of the Me'arat Hamachpela Cave of the Patriarchs in Hevron has announced that the structure will be closed to Jews on Friday because of the second Friday of prayers of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
Prayers for the Jews will take place at the "seventh step" plaza, outside the southeast corner. The inside will reopen to Jews on Saturday, starting at 4:00 am.
