The State Attorney's Office recently filed an appeal with the Supreme Court against the decision of the District Court to transfer the 16-year-old boy accused of killing Aisha Rabi to electronic detention.
According to the State Attorney's Office, the District Court erred because it did not give sufficient weight to the defendant's very high risk to public safety and security, because the Defendant's actions are based on the District Court's assertions of security and ideological terror at a high severity threshold that led to the death of an innocent woman in front of her husband and daughter.
Therefore, the State Attorney's Office requests the Supreme Court to cancel the decision and order the defendant's detention until the end of the legal proceedings against him.
