In a post on Twitter, MK Idit Silman (United Right) condemned MK Ofer Cassif's (Hadash-Taal) comments about Rav Kook, writing:
"MK Cassif, you are as new to the Knesset as I am. I can honestly tell you that I see before me the mission for those who sent me, for their welfare and prosperity together with all the citizens of Israel. To judge from what you have said today and to link Rabbi Kook's theory to the theory of race, one can understand a clear thing: You have not come to act for your clients. Not to improve their quality of life, not to work for education, health or culture, not to improve their status in Israeli society, and not for any interest that will benefit them in the future. Your goal is to sow discord and turn yourself into a leper in the eyes of the Israeli public."
